Inspired by a video by Lindybeige (on YouTube) where he talks about fantasy world magic and a specific part where he wonders where the energy to use magic might come from. In short, the idea is that a mage can transfer kinetic energy from a giant fly wheel to power a massive spell. Except the first time a mage tried, he didn't account for how much energy a mountain sized fly wheel generates and ends up a lot toasty.
